Formed in the basement of The Chelsea Hotel a few years back to help a friend raise funds for his charity, The Subscribers, comprised of some of Wall Street’s finest and funniest black sheep, have gone from strength to strength delivering their brand of partypoprock performances at charitable events and fundraisers locally and internationally.
The Subscribers have steadfastly refused any Government bailout funding as they pursue their mission: performing in good times and bad to help charitable organizations working to make the world a better place.
As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, they have created events and delivered scores of performances to help raise more than $7mm for over a dozen charities. Band members all volunteer their time and donate their performances.
